I didn't research much about my Liberty Project because I had to go volunteer at my old elementary school and also had other homework. However I did research go On Diigo and wrote some notes and kind of explored the website for a while. I highlighted some text on some websites and also saved new websites that I will explore later on to my account. I also took some screen shots of the websites so that if tomorrow I have extra time, I will be able to work on my project and take some notes with out needing internet connection. Well technically that was about it that I did today on my Liberty Project.
Today I continued to work on my rough draft. However I didn't spend the whole day working on my project because i had to work on my English essay outline that is due on Monday. I spent more time on my English essay than on my Liberty Project. However I worked on the short paragraph that i will dedicate to George Washington. In this paragraph I will give a bit of information on how his actions effected and influenced other parts of the world. I also tried to work on the short paragraph that I will dedicate to the Declaration Of Independence, in which i will talk about hot it also effected and influenced other parts of the world. However I didn't get much done in that paragraph
Today I got some stuff done, such as researching more about the effects that the American Revolution had on other parts of the world and began to write my rough draft. Although, I didn't get too much done since it was my cousin's birthday, I did spent about 20 minutes on my project at my cousin's house with the help of Diigo. I took some notes and saved some websites that I would check out later.
While researching, I found that it would be much better and easier if i used the Google operators. While researching on the American Revolution, I got many websites that were really useful to me and didn't include trustworthy information. Therefore, I used the operator, site: edu. It really minimized the websites and only gave me the trustworthy ones as well as the websites that were useful to me. I also used the operator when researching about the Declaration of Independence. So basically that was pretty much all I did, which was researching certain topics and utilizing the Google operators.
Today I was unable to do any research on my Liberty Project due to the fact that I have two tests tomorrow in Biology and Math. I spent on my time studying heavily for this tests and had no spare time to do any sort of progress in my project. I would have liked to star researching more about the effects the American Revolution had on the world and would have liked to start on making my rough draft. Hopefully I begin to do so either on Friday or the weekend.
Today i began to explore the Diigo website. I found out that you are able to screen shot pages and are able to work on projects when traveling with that website. I also learned how you can highlight and use special tools to take notes on website pages. I also found out that you are able to save a website and even if the website is deleted, you are still able to go on it. I also stared to save pages and take notes on some websites. While at my cousin's house, I was able to work on it and get stuff done. I took very effective notes on a page of the american revolution and made side notes of how I would include some information on the page to my essay.
Today I discovered a new way on how to research. I was able to learn about the Google Operators in which you are able to write specific operators in URL, which helps you minimize the Google results and only give you the websites that you want. I also created an account on Diigo, which is a website that allows you to to many stuff while researching for a project or school activity. This website is able to save the website URL so that you won't lose the page/website, it also lets you take notes on the websites for reminders, etc. Diigo also lets you
